The Political Library is hosting a day-long workshop for teachers and education professionals interested in learning how to implement Kids Voting NH in your school and your community.  This workshop is free of charge. 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. Welcoming Remarks

8:45 to 10:30 a.m. Session 1: Kids Voting NH Curriculum
This session will provide an overview of the Kids Voting USA program its structure, resources and curriculum. An audio visual demonstration will introduce the K-12 curriculum, lesson plans and content areas and how the program connects to academic standards. Ample time will be available to answer questions about implementing the curriculum in your classroom or school.

10:30 to 10:45 a.m.  Break

10:45 to 12:00 p.m. Session 2: Digging Deeper—A hands-on look at Kids Voting activities that engage and energize
Session facilitators will explore in more depth specific activities and give participants a chance to experience first-hand a selection of the Kids Voting lessons and activities that have been successful with students.

12:00 to 12:45 p.m.  Lunch

12:45 to 2:00 p.m. Voting in the Community 
A panel discussion will cover the authentic voting experience including coordinating and implementing student voting at polling sites on Election Day.

2:00 to 2:30 p.m. Workshop Review
Dedicated time for questions, follow up and next steps for bringing or expanding Kids Voting NH in your community.
