The New Hampshire Political Library’s administrative offices are located at the Pierce Manse, 14 Horseshoe Pond Lane, in the historic neighborhood of downtown Concord.
Directions to the Pierce Manse
From Interstate 93, take exit 15W onto I-393 West towards downtown Concord. Go through a set of blinking yellow lights to the intersection of I-393 West and North Main Street, where there is a traffic light. Take a hard right on to North Main Street. The Manse is at the end of North Main Street (a white Greek Revival house). Go around the concrete median and look for the driveway entrance on the right.
If you miss the hard right on to North Main Street, and instead veer right on to Route 3, continue straight through the next traffic light. At the second traffic light, take a right on to Horseshoe Pond Lane. The driveway to the Pierce Manse will be on your left, just past the yellow house.
New Hampshire Political Library Reading Room
The Reading Room of the New Hampshire Political Library is located in the New Hampshire State Library on 20 Park Street in Concord, New Hampshire. The State Library is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Library is closed on legal holidays. For more information about the State Library, please visit

From Interstate 93, take Exit 14. If coming from the south on I-93, turn left at the end of the ramp. If coming from the north on I-93, take a right at the end of the ramp. Go through three sets of lights. Turn left at the next set of lights onto North Main Street. Take your first right onto Park Street. The New Hampshire State Library is located on the right at the corner of North State and Park Streets. Parking is available either on the street (metered or limited time) or in municipal garages in downtown Concord.
